Location searches

A city name is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service. A five-digit U.S. ZIP code is sent to Zippopotam. Coordinates are then sent to the Open-Meteo forecast service so the page can show tomorrow's weather.

Saved place

After a forecast loads, the place name and coordinates are stored in localStorage on your device under the key twvPlace. The next visit reuses that place. You can remove it by clearing site data in the browser.

Contact email

The contact page is a mail link. A message you choose to send goes through your own email program. This site does not keep a copy.

Logs and external services

The host that delivers these static files may keep ordinary request logs, such as the page address and browser type. Weather and geocoding requests are handled by those outside services under their own practices. This site does not use a private weather key.
